This 10 Days best of Uganda Gorillas, Wildlife Safari and Chimpanzee tracking tour  takes you to Uganda’s different National Parks like Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi Impenetrable Park, and Lake Mburo National Park, giving you a chance to get up-close to the best wildlife Game drives, primates experience, Best birdlife, Nature walk and Horse riding as you discover and experience the Savannah and the Forests of these different National Parks.


Day 1:  Arrival and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park (Optional Rhino Tracking at Zziwa Sanctuary).

Our safari guide will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport upon arrival, you will depart by Road for Murchison Falls National Park with a stop enroute for lunch and an Optional activity to track the Rhinos at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary. On arrival in the Park you will have Dinner and Overnight at your Lodge / Camp.

Day 2: Game drive – Launch cruise

Early in the morning rise on time to cross River Nile with a Ferry and go for a game drive in search for predators and early risers on the Northern bank of the Nile. You may have a Chance to see game like hyenas, giraffes, Lions, birds, Hartebeests, buffalos, elephants, primates and others as well as different species of Birds.  After the game drive return to the Lodge / camp for lunch. In the afternoon go for a launch cruise on the great Victoria Nile to the Bottom of the falls. The boat ride will reward you with water game like hippos, crocodiles, elephants and plenty of birds along the banks. Dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park – Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.

An early start, after breakfast, we depart Murchison Falls National Park and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. This is a full day drive with enroute lunch and we will arrive late in the  Afternoon. Dinner and overnight at either Fort Portal Town or in Kibale Forest at the Lodge / Camp.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park

Early in the morning report to the park Headquarters ranger station for a short briefing to go for your chimp trekking. You will be briefed about the whole process of tracking Chimpanzees and then you will head along the tracks of the forest to search for chimpanzees. The walk through the park will be guided providing information about not only the chimpanzees but also on flora and fauna.  On Meeting the chimpanzees and you spend some time watching them feed and making their calls. If you are lucky to find them hunting this is the best time, as you watch them share the meal amongst themselves. After tracking you will have Lunch and later in the Afternoon drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park to reach in the evening.  Dinner and overnight at your lodge/ Camp.

Day 5: Game Drive and Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel

Wake up before sunrise to a cup of tea or a glass of water and then set off to the park tracks for a morning game drive to be able to see predators as they return to their hide outs and the early risers. During the drive watch out for game like the Leopards, Lions, giant forest hogs, hyenas, Uganda kobs, warthogs and others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for heavy breakfast and then later have lunch. In the Afternoon transfer for your Boat Cruise on the Kazinga Channel. The launch that takes you along the Kazinga channel that connects Lakes George and Edward will reward you with game like Hippos, elephants and buffaloes at the shores not forgetting plenty of birds. Dinner and overnight as above.    Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After your breakfast drive through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National park famous for tree climbing lions as you proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park arrival on time for Dinner and overnight at your Lodge / Camp.

Day 7: Gorilla tracking experience.

In the morning you will have heavy breakfast and with packed lunch, we transfer to the park headquarters for briefing and then later on at 8:00am, set off along the tracks to penetrate into the forest in search for these great apes. Depending on the movement of these humble giants the walk might take between 2-9 hours before you encounter the Gorillas. The walk is sometimes tiresome. However, meeting these great apes and spending some time with them while looking deep into their expressive brown eyes, is an exhilarating and a breathtaking experience. Depending on the time of completion of the Gorilla trek, you will later return to your Lodge for Dinner and Overnight at your Lodge as above.

Day 8: Bwindi Gorilla Forest – Transfer to Lake Mburo National park.

You will drive to Lake Mburo National Park after your breakfast reaching early in the afternoon for your lunch, after which you have an afternoon to relax as you get ready for a night game drive in the park. This night game drive gives you a chance to see leopards hunting and if you get lucky you can watch them on a close range as they enjoy their prey. Return to your lodge for a late dinner and overnight at your Lodge or Camp.

Day 9: Walking safari / Optional Horseback Ride

Set off early in the morning after your breakfast for an awesome walking Safari in the park, here you have a chance to go on a guided walk through the park and you will be close enough to most of the animals like giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, impalas and many other mammals. Lots of bird species are also spotted on this walk.

Take an Optional one of a Kind Horseback wildlife Safari, this is one of the most amazing Experiences in the Lake Mburo Park. Take this 2 to 5-hour horse ride across the African Savannah accentuated at Lake Mburo with rolling hills, valleys and the various lakes in and around Lake Mburo Park. A horseback safari gives you a whole different feeling of the African Wild, there are no sounds of vehicle engines and no fumes – you are simply experiencing the African Wild on horseback. Later Return back to your lodge for your Dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Lake Mburo National Park – Transfer back to Kampala / Entebbe Towns.

This is the day you will be reflecting on the stories to tell after watching the strongest waterfalls in the world, Meeting our closest relatives and our cousins in their natural habitat, after being in nature, close to lions, elephants, hippos. Enroute you will have a stop at the Equator for an Equator Experiment, and on arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in Kampala, or transferred to Entebbe International Airport for Your Outbound Flight Home.
