This 4 Days City Tour of Entebbe, Kampala & Jinja gives you an Insight into 3 main Colonial urban Towns of Uganda namely; Entebbe, Kampala and Jinja. Entebbe was the original capital city of Uganda, Kampala is the current capital city and business hub of the country while Jinja was the industrial town but currently known as the adventure capital of East Africa due to the several Touristic activities carried out on River Nile.
This Tour can be enjoyed in a Car or on the back of a Rola coaster “bodaboda” or when you get to the main Cities, we provide you with a Guide who is able to give you a walking tour around any of these Cities. These Cities all offer unique Activities and also give you an opportunity to visit Historical sites, Monuments, Land Marks, Museums, Markets both Local and Craft, Religious sights and much more.
DAY 1: ENTEBBE CITY TOUR – The Colonia Capital of Uganda
The colonial town of Entebbe is the oldest town and the first capital city of Uganda. It is situated along the shores of Lake Victoria and is also a gateway to many Islands on Lake Victoria – the largest freshwater lake in Africa and second-largest in the world.
Our first visit will be at the lakeside Entebbe Botanical Gardens for a variety of trees, medicinal plants and plants, then proceed to Ugandan Wildlife Education Centre to participate in the ‘behind the scenes’ program where we will have an opportunity to get closer to some of the animals by participating in the feeding program. Animals to see at UWEC include elephants, Lions, Leopard, Giraffe, bushbucks, waterbuck, Crocodile, Zebra, Buffalo etc. and several birds. After this experience at Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, You will proceed to Kigungu, a traditional fishing village and later finish with a continental or traditional Uganda style meal at a local favorite restaurant.
Optional Afternoon, we can take a relaxing boat cruise on Lake Victoria for a sunset cruise. We hope to be able to reach the equator monument showing the imaginary equator line as it crosses Lake Victoria. We shall later proceed to our hotel for Dinner and Overnight at:

DAY 2: KAMPALA CITY TOUR – The City of 7 hills
Depart from your hotel in Entebbe which is about 45 minutes drive to Kampala City. Kampala is the capital city of Uganda and a cultural melting pot of the country where you will find every tribe and language represented and known for their being welcoming and Friendly. Our experienced guide takes you through the sights and sounds of this hilly city for you to be able to visit cultural, Historical and Religious sites to different places such as the Uganda Museum, Kasubi Tombs, Makerere University, Nakasero and Owino Markets, Crafts market, Namirembe Cathedral, Rubaga Cathedral, The Central Mosque, Kabaka’s lake and more. Enjoy a continental or traditional Ugandan style lunch at a local favourite restaurant before returning to your hotel.
You may request to extend this tour to a full day and visit the Slums of Kampala, Grassroots tours. All these can be enjoyed while on Foot or in a car, or on the Back of a Motorbike rollercoaster (Bodaboda). Later in the evening, our guide will transfer you to your Hotel for your Dinner and Overnight. Day 3: JINJA CITY TOUR – A visit to Ssezibwa Falls, Mabira Forest and The source of the Nile Tour
The Journey to Jinja takes you to the Eastern Part of Uganda through the beautiful Countryside driving through several plantations of sugar and tea, and colourful roadside fruit markets. We shall have our first stopover at the Ssezibwa falls on River Ssezibwa a traditional and historical Buganda heritage there are so many cultural experiences and learning about the African traditional beliefs of Buganda and the great legend of Ssezibwa. We later proceed to Mabira Forest, the nearest tropical forest to Kampala. On arrival at the eco-tourism site, we will be given a tour guide to take us through the forest for a Nature walk. He will share the rich heritage of the Uganda people who lived in the forest and you will have opportunities while on your Nature walk to see primates, different bird species, beautiful butterflies and tree species.
We proceed Jinja for the highlight of your trip – a boat ride to the “Source of the Nile” at the now submerged Rippon Falls. This is where the Nile starts its 4000-mile journey to the Mediterean Sea from Lake Victoria. Join us to see the source of the Nile and the surrounding environment followed by Owen Falls Dam and Masese fishing village on Lake Victoria. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel in Jinja.
