The Ssese Islands consist of 84 Islands in the northwestern part of Lake Victoria in Uganda. The Ssese islands occupy the northwestern corner of Lake Victoria and are mostly inhabited by the Bantu Speaking people who are close to the Baganda and the Basoga people of Uganda. The Ssese Islands can be accessed from Nakiwogo in Entebbe or From Masaka in Bukakata. This Tour can Take 3 Days or More basing on how much time you have for this Holiday.

DETAILED TOUR  ITINERARY FOR 3 DAYS SSESE ISLAND TOUR UGANDA.

Day 1: Kampala – Travel to Ssese Island

Our driver guide will pick you up from your Hotel at about 11:00am,  and transfer by Road to Entebbe  Nakiwogo Landing site on the Shores of Lake Victoria, where we shall transfer by Ferry at about 2:00Pm to Ssesse Island. The drive takes about 3 Hours to the Landing Area reaching at about 5:30 Pm at Lutoboka Landing Site in Kalangala District. Depending on your chosen accommodation, We drive/walk a few metres from the landing site along the beach and check into a Hotel / Resort of your Choice for an overnight.

Day 2: Ssese Island – Full Day Relaxing by the Beach / Take a Nature walk / Boat Ride. 

Wake up with great views of the white sand beach on Ssese Islands and depending on your Day’s  desire and energy , you may take a Forest/ Nature walk in Lutoboka Central Forest Reserve, The lutoboka forest is described as medium altitude moist forest lying on 378 hectares of land gazzetted in 1948.and if you are a bird lover,there are over 300bird species in the forest and lots of primates in the forest on Ssese Island in the Lutoboka Forest.

Return later for lunch and relax by the white sand on Lake Victoria on the Ssese islands beach. you can request to have your lunch by the beach. Or Spend a Full Day Relaxing by the Beach and doing Indoor Activities. Overnight at Hotel of Your Choice.

Day 3: Transfer back to Entebbe to meet your Guide who will transfer you back to Kampala!

We have an early breakfast, and we check out from the Hotel at about 7:30am where we head back to the ferry, boarding at about 8:00am and we sail on lake victoria for 3-hrs back to Nakiwogo Landing Site in Entebbe,where you will meet your Driver to board a car and drive back to kampala / Home.
