Start your adventure in Arusha, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Ndutu area and Serengeti National park and end it relaxing by the Beach Front in Zanzibar Island.

14 Day Best of Tanzania Wildlife Safari and Zanzibar Holiday – DETAILED ITINERARY.

DAY 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival in Arusha, our Representative from MuAfrika Adventures Limited will pick you up at Kilimanjaro Airport and drive you to your hotel for your overnight stay at The African Tulip

DAY 2: Transfer from Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we drive to Tarangire National Park arriving on time for your lunch at the Lodge. After lunch begin with a game drive in the park. Look out for elephants, giraffes, impalas, monkeys and occasionally the big cats. late in the afternoon return to the Lodge for an early dinner. After depart for a 2 Hour Night Game drive as you look out for nocturnal animals that are never seen during daytime (like aardvarks, porcupines bush babies and others). Later return to your Lodge for  an Overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge.

DAY 3: Transfer from Tarangire National Park – Lake Manyara National Park.

After breakfast, we depart for Lake Manyara where we shall enjoy a village tour at Mto wa Mbu town, This is a small but very busy town where people that belong to all the 120 different tribes of Tanzania live together. This exciting walk will give you an opportunity to interact with the local people and learn a lot about their daily life. We shall later continue to the Camp arriving on time for lunch. In the afternoon depart for a game drive of Lake Manyara National Park. This park has the largest concentration of baboons in North Tanzania, tree-climbing lions and others. It is also the best place to see flamingos and other birds. Enjoy your Dinner and Overnight at Manyara Wildlife Camp

DAY 4: Transfer from Lake Manyara National Park – Ngorongoro Crater.

After breakfast, we drive to Ngorongoro crater with our picnic lunch for a full day of game viewing. This is the best place to see the endangered black rhino (less than 1000 black rhinos are left in the wild in the world). You will also have opportunities to see hippos, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, warthogs among others. In the late afternoon proceed to your Accommodation for Dinner and Overnight stay at Ngorongoro Sopa lodge.

DAY 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Ndutu

After breakfast, drive to Ndutu An’gata camp for lunch, with a short stop on a traditional Maasai village then continue with a game drive in the Ndutu area. Ndutu is the area between South East of Serengeti and North West of Ngorongoro where the great migration takes place between January to late April. This short grassland area has highly nutritious grass due to the minerals found in the area and it is where the great migration calve in February. It is one of the very few places in the parks where off-road game drive is permitted and the best place to see hunting cats (lions and cheetahs). Other animals in the place include hyenas, warthogs, elephants, giraffes and many more. Enjoy dinner and overnight at Serengeti Ang’ata Camp

DAY 6: Ndutu

After your breakfast spend the whole day enjoying game drives in the Ndutu area exploring the great migration while looking out for hunting lions and cheetahs. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

DAY 7: Transfer from Ndutu area – Serengeti National Park

After your breakfast head to Serengeti National Park arriving on time for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon depart for a game drive in the park, Serengeti National Park has the largest concentration of big mammals in the world. Here you will see most of your animals on your trip including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, impalas, giraffes and many more. Enjoy your dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge

DAY 8: Serengeti National Park

Enjoy your Breakfast and spend a full day of game drives with picnic lunch. Later return to the Lodge for Dinner and Overnight as above.

DAY 9: Transfer from Serengeti National park – Zanzibar Island

After breakfast, we drive to Seronera airstrip with picnic lunch for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival in Zanzibar, you will be transferred to the Resort for your dinner and overnight at Next Paradise Boutique resort at the Beachfront Bungalow.

DAY 10: Zanzibar

Get the best out of Zanzibar; spend your days relaxing by the beach. Or take up the Hotel Activities like walking, diving, fishing and many more. Dinner and Overnight at the Resort as above.

DAY 11: Zanzibar – Relax by the Beach

Spend the Day Relaxing by the Beach. Dinner and Overnight at the Boutique Resort as above.

DAY 12: Zanzibar – A visit to Jozani Forest and the Historical Stone town

After your breakfast, we depart by road for a visit to Jozani forest to see red monkeys, then proceed for a visit to a spice farm to learn about African spices (Zanzibar spices are very famous worldwide), Later visit the historical stone town and then return to the Boutique resort for dinner and overnight.

DAY 13: Zanzibar- Relax by the Beach

Whole day spent relaxing at the beach. All meals and overnight will be at Next Paradise resort in a Beachfront Bungalow.

DAY 14: Zanzibar – Flight transfer back home

After breakfast, spend the morning relaxing at the beach. Enjoy your Lunch at the Resort.  Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for a flight to Dar es Salaam to connect to your International Flight Home.
