3 Days Sipi falls tour and Jinja Adventure – TOUR OVERVIEW.

3 Days Sipi falls Tour and Jinja Adventure, will take you for a visit to Sipi falls where you will experience a hiking adventure to the three water falls, a visit to a coffee plantation where you will learn how coffee is processed giving you a chance of coffee tasting. Optional activities like; Abseiling at the Sipi falls and White water rafting tour in Jinja at the stretch of the Nile River that includes grade 3-5 rapids with major 8 rapids and calm sections to be rafted. You will enjoy a boat ride to visit the source of the world’s longest river the Nile in Jinja and a short stop at the Ssezibwa falls on your way back to Kampala or Entebbe.

3 Days Sipi falls Tour and Jinja Adventure – DETAILED TOUR ITINERARY.

DAY 1: Drive from Kampala to Sipi Falls, Village walk & Coffee Plantation Tour

Start at 6:00am with our driver guide heading East, through Mabira Forest, Sugarcane Plantations crossing the mighty Nile in Jinja and continue on through Iganga and Mbale Towns through landscapes of farmland. Arrive at your accommodation in Sipi to enjoy lunch. In the afternoon go for a guided village walk through the Coffee Plantations and see how the locally grown Arabica coffee is processed and coffee tasting. Later in the evening return to the Lodge for Dinner and Overnight at Sipi River Lodge / Lacam Lodge / Sipi Falls Lodge / Kamorok Falls view Lodge / Sipi Travellers Lodge.

DAY 2: Sipi falls hike and Transfer to Jinja

Wake up to the beautiful views of Sipi falls, enjoy your breakfast after which you will meet with the Sipi falls local guide  at the Hiking starting point for a short briefing through the history of Sipi falls there after start this exciting activity with a guided hike  through the demarcated trails up to the Water falls. This hike takes about 4 Hours covering 7 Kilometers to explore and Experience the three falls located at 100m, 85m and 75m dropping above sea level and get great views of them as well as get so close so you can hear the roar of the water and feel the water splashing on you as well as take Photos. Later after this strenuous but rather thrilling hike, depart for Jinja and enjoy lunch Enroute, proceed to Jinja Town on time for your dinner and Overnight at Nile Village Hotel / 2 friends Guest House / Jinja Base Camp / Nile River Camp

DAY 3: Transfer back to Kampala with a Boat ride at the source of the Nile

Have breakfast, drive back to Kampala with a stop for a boat ride at the source of the world’s longest river the Nile. Have another stop at Ssezibwa waterfalls, off the main Jinja – Kampala highway continue and arrive in Kampala to transfer to your accommodation.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: White Water rafting in Jinja

Have an early morning breakfast, transfer to the starting point for white water rafting. There you will be taken through a briefing and a session of exercises and tips to ensure safety during the adventure. Embark on the boat and sail on the water paddling to the rapids of the mighty River Nile. Expect to fall off the boat after hitting the Rapids, scary however a memorable adventure. Depending on your experience on water, choose which grade of rapids, grade 3 or grade 5 rapids. Endeavor to have your life jacket on to keep safe and out of danger. The experience is challenging for first times but thrilling to last for a life time.

This is a private tour, departure can be organised for anytime throughout the year subject to availability of accommodation and transport.

In case the mentioned accommodations are not available during the requested period, we will always do our best to book one for you in the same Class. This is done only after consulting you. While on a Safari always be sure to have all your belongings before checking out of the Accommodations to avoid losing things that may be important to you.

Transport: Our Safaris involve a lot of travelling on main Tarmac and Dirt Roads thus transport is provided in closed 4X4 Wheel drive Toyota Land Cruisers for all luxury Tours and the standard 4×4 Wheel drive Safari mini – vans for all Midrange Safaris. All Vehicles are provided with pop- top roofs for easy and excellent safari viewing. All passengers will have a dedicated window seat. Your professional English speaking and courteous driver / guide will be at your disposal for questions or translations.

For fly-in safaris, a combination of light aircraft and small planes ranging in size from Cessna 206’s to Cessna Grand Caravans and Charters but luggage is restricted. This is also Combined with the use of closed 4×4 Wheel Drive Vehicles  with pop-top roofs that pick you up from the Airfields since they are located far away from  the National Parks and Lodges that are usually in remote areas and this may involve some travelling on main tarmac or dirt Roads to reach the final destinations.
