This 4 Day Serengeti Wildlife safari takes you to Serengeti national park in Tanzania, which is renowned for its massive annual migration of wildebeest and zebras. Enjoy game drive sightings of some of the wildest mammals like lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and more.

4 DAY SERENGETI WILDLIFE SAFARI – DETAILED SAFARI ITINERARY

DAY 1: Arrival and transfer to Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a representative from MuAfrika Adventures will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel in Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay at the Impala hotel.

DAY 2: Transfer from Arusha – Serengeti national park

Pick up from Hotel in Arusha and transfer by road to Serengeti national park after your early morning breakfast, passing through the beautiful high lying farms of karutu and Ngorongoro conservation area descending into the central Serengeti Park area in the “seronera” area one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park featuring Serengeti river which attracts wildlife representing most of Serengeti species. Arrive at the lodge on time for lunch and check-in. Later enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park, viewing animals like baboons, hippos which come to cool off at the riverbank of Serengeti River. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Kati Kati Camp

DAY 3: Serengeti national park

After breakfast drive through the heart of the park’s endless plains feature the great count of the animal population like the great big cats like thousands of lions, Tanzanian cheetah, leopards, jackal species, and herbivores like millions of wildebeest, thousands of elephants, zebras, Thompson gazelles, and buffaloes not forgetting different bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation viewing the sunset in the savannah plains of Serengeti. Dinner and overnight as above.

DAY 4: Hot air balloon – Departure

After breakfast at the lodge, glide in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti plains floating silently above the growing bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of Africa across rivers and over numerous small villages. Return to the lodge check out and transfer back to Arusha reaching early evening to your hotel or drop off for your homebound flight. End of Your 4 Day Serengeti Wildlife Safari!

Time & Dates of Travel:
This is a private tour, departure can be organised for any time throughout the year subject to availability of accommodation and transport.

Accommodation Booking: The Accommodations Mentioned in the Program depend on availability and Reservations are only made after your booking Confirmation. In case the mentioned accommodations are not available during the requested period, we will always do our best to book one for you in the same Class. This is done only after consulting you. While on a Safari always be sure to have all your belongings before checking out of the Accommodations to avoid losing things that may be important to you.

Transport: Our Safaris involve a lot of travelling on main Tarmac and Dirt Roads thus transport is provided in closed 4X4 Wheel drive Toyota Land Cruisers for all luxury Tours and the standard 4×4 Wheel drive Safari minivans for all Midrange Safaris. All Vehicles are provided with pop-top roofs for easy and excellent safari viewing. All passengers will have a dedicated window seat. Your professional English speaking and courteous driver/guide will be at your disposal for questions or translations.

What to bring with you for a wildlife safari

• Rain Jacket is essential as it could unpredictably Rain
• Light Clothes as the sun does shine pretty bright in Murchison falls and Queen Elizabeth National Parks
• Torch is essential for safety purposes
• Sunglasses to protect you from direct sun rays
• A zoom lens Camera for photographs
• A good insect repellent to keep those persistent Insects and Mosquitoes away.

NB: It is not a Guarantee to see all the Various Animals in the Parks, especially Cats but there is a great chance that you might see them during an Evening or Early Morning Game drive because it is less hot around that time and therefore the animals are freely roaming around as opposed to typical afternoon hours when it gets too hot for the animals and they go undertaking cover from the sun.
