6 DAYS TANZANIA LUXURY ADVENTURE

SAFARI OVERVIEW

This 6 Days Tanzania Luxury Adventure is a glimpse of Tanzania’s Northern part of the legendary wildlife Safari that gives you wildlife authenticity, just under the foot of Mount Meru the fifth tallest mountain in Africa and second after Kilimanjaro taking you to Tanzania’s most visited destinations. The Northern Tanzania Parks include the leading extraordinary park in Africa the Serengeti. Lake Manyara is small yet incredibly striking and breathtaking, offering a variety of landscapes, from its flat soda lake to its dense forests and the rugged cliffs of the Rift Valley escarpment. And lastly, Tarangire National Park is a place where large groups of elephants call it home.

Furthermore, the mysterious Ngorongoro Crater is a landscape like no other on earth, that offers vast views over a beautiful natural sanctuary where wildlife encounters lie around every corner. And the most fascinating thing is the annual migration that is found around the Ngorongoro / Serengeti – Ndutu Area during the months of December to mid-April. It is during this time we call the calving seasons where wildebeests give birth to their younger ones after migrating around for a period of time. This is the only place in Tanzania these wildebeest will come back for calving!!

Be enthralled among the enormous plains of the Serengeti, one of Africa’s most famous safari destinations and the leading safari destination park in Africa, where horizons know no end and a mesmerizing variety of wildlife call it home. Serengeti is perhaps most well-known for the annual migration that takes place across the great Savannah plains.

In the afternoon break for picnic lunch at a picnic site in Tarangire enjoy your lunch in the bush before embarking back to your game drive. The ecosystem in Tarangire National Park is balanced by a localized migration pattern that is followed by the majority of game that resides in and around the park. As a result, Tarangire is superb almost throughout the season of the year.  Elephants are the main attraction, with up to 3,000 in the park during the peak months. Peak season also sees good numbers of wildebeest and zebra as well as giraffe, buffalo, Thompson’s gazelle, greater and lesser kudu, eland, leopard and cheetah.  The real prizes in the park are dwarf mongoose, oryx and generuk – but viewings are very rare. The best months to visit Ndutu Region are from December, when the Great Migration herds start to arrive from the north, until April when the millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle have trekked northwards again. In the early months of the year – with a peak in February – the wildebeest herds are calving on the lush grassy plains: thousands upon thousands of baby animals are born every day, attracting the attention of cheetah, lion and hyena.

Break for your picnic lunch and continue with your game drive enjoying the marvellous wildlife around this area and wind up your evening drive returning to your lodge for your dinner and Overnight at Ndutu area Legendary Serengeti Mobile Camps.

The forests and granite kopjes around Lake Ndutu are also home to lots of game outside of the migration months.

Return for relaxation and leisure at your Camp/Lodge before catching up for your afternoon game drive. Calving season is particularly dramatic: a million wildebeest give birth to 8000 babies every day, and as these newborns take their first steps, they’re targeted by lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena.  Enjoy your evening drive and the breathtaking sundowner moments before returning back to the Camp for dinner and overnight.
