The 2 day Murchison falls National Park Wildlife Safari is a short Uganda tour package that takes you to Uganda’s largest National Park which is also famous for its world’s most powerful waterfalls. The park was gazetted in 1962 as a game reserve to protect the diversity of wildlife species such as African elephants, cape Buffaloes, Jackson’s Hartebeest, lions, Rothschild Giraffes, Oribis, Uganda Kobs, Leopards and many more.
DAY 1: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park – Afternoon Boat ride on the Nile
Our Guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Murchison Falls National Park. You will go through several Towns and Villages, as well as Budongo forest on the western arm of the Great Rift Valley enjoying the Beautiful Scenery. Enroute enjoy your Lunch in Masindi Town, after which you will proceed with your journey which offers you with great sceneries that are picturesque to reach the Largest Game Park and Reserve in the afternoon. Arrive on time to check in to our Lodge / Camp. After which we take our Afternoon Boat Ride up the Nile River to the most powerful falls in the world. Wildlife, primates, reptiles in the river and along the shores enjoying one of the best wildlife experiences in Uganda. Later Return to your Lodge / Camp for Dinner and Overnight at;

DAY 2: Game drive – Transfer back to Kampala.
After your early morning breakfast, we set off for a game drive across the savanna, along Lake Albert Delta, abundant wildlife of about 72 mammals including Giraffes, Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Hippos, warthogs, baboons as you move slowly as the sun rises. With over 460 different kinds of birds including the Shoebill Stork and 53 kinds of raptors. Reptiles such as the Nile Crocodiles, Monitor Lizards, Rock Pythons are all found in Murchison Falls National Park as you enjoy the beauty of Africa.
Later after the Game drive, transfer back to Kampala with a drive/hike to the top of the falls where the Nile perfects its beauty. Here you will see the calm Nile forcing itself through a narrow gorge to fall a distance of about 150ft down producing a thunderous roar of white water- incredible scenery! NOTE THAT: It is not a Guarantee to see all the Various Animals in the Parks, especially Cats but there is a great chance that you might see them during an Evening or Early Morning Game drive because it is less hot around that time and therefore the animals are freely roaming around as opposed to typical afternoon hours when it gets too hot for the animals and they go undertaking cover from the sun.
