This 3 Day Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park and Crater lakes visit takes you to Kibale Forest National Park, famous for Chimpanzee Trekking. It is an Amazing and rewarding Experience to trek Chimpanzees and an opportunity for you to Explore the Jungles, swamps as well as grassland around the Forest. There are 2 Times for trekking opportunities per day that is Morning and Afternoon. You are allowed to stay with the Chimpanzees for a maximum of one hour after locating them. Kibale Forest National Park is approximately 320 Kilometers from Kampala. The Park is situated 26 kilometres southwest of the town of Fort Portal and about a one hour’s drive from Kasese town. Kibale National Park is a haven for about 13 different species of primates. Among them are chimpanzees, Red-tailed Monkeys, Black and White Colobus Monkeys, Baboons and Grey-cheeked Mangabeys, the Rare L’hoest Monkey and Bush Babies.) DAY 1: Kampala – Kibale Forest National Park visit the crater lakes region
Pick up from your hotel early morning by our safari guide and drive to Kibale Forest National Park, Enjoying the scenic beauty all the way to the park. You will reach late in the afternoon to go visit the crater lakes regions near the Ndali area and later transfer to your Lodge for Dinner and overnight at
Luxury Accommodation: Ndali Lodge, Primates Lodge, Kyaninga Lodge.
Mid-range Accommodation: Turaco Treetops, Isunga Lodge, Kibale Forest Camp.
Budget Accommodation: Rwenzori View Guest House, Chimpanzee Guest House, Crater Valley Kibale (CVK) Lakeside Resort.

DAY 2: Chimpanzee Trekking – Bigodi walk
Up early report to the ranger station to start tracking chimpanzees in the forest and this will enable you to view other primates like the colobus monkeys, Mangabeys, baboons, Bushbabies and many more. You will move with a guide who will make your walk informative and productive making it interesting. He will provide information on both flora and fauna. Have lunch and then in the afternoon you will go for a walk to Bigodi Swamp Known as a bird-watching sanctuary for plenty of birds and rare fauna and flora. Alternatively enjoy your whole day doing chimpanzee habituation experience, take unforgettable photos, videos. After being filled with this extraordinary experience return to the lodge for your Dinner and overnight as above.

DAY 3: A visit to Amabeere Ga Nyinamwiru Caves and Transfer back to Kampala
Early morning breakfast, we drive to Nyakasura for an excursion at the “Mabere ga Nyinamwiru” caves and “Lake Saka crater” walk. Small waterfalls are seen on the nature walk through the mythological caves. The legends of the caves are more impressive than the caves themselves which hold many stalactites. Afterwards, the guide can take you to the top of the Lakes Saka and Kigere crater, which has a beautiful view over the Fort Portal plateau and the Rwenzori Mountains. After the excursion drive back to Kampala with your lunch enroute and on arrival transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight or transfer to Entebbe Airport for your outbound flight.
