DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a boat ride on Kazinga Channel and Crater Game drive
Our Safari Guide will Pick you up from your hotel and head west to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a stop at the Equator in Kayabwe to experience how you can be in both hemispheres at once. Take some photos at the point where the southern and northern hemispheres meet. Have lunch enroute in Mbarara town and later proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most scenic and diverse park on the Albertine Rift Valley. Reach the park on time for your afternoon two-hour boat ride on Kazinga Channel. This 36kms channel linking Lake George to Lake Edward. From the boat you can spot land and water adapted Hippopotamuses, the Nile crocodile gaping along the banks, Savannah version of Pigs the Warthog as well as many different birds. Later Continue through the lush hills of the Park with a game of the Crater drive through the volcanic craters on a 24 km drive through a scenic cluster of extinct volcanic craters filled with lakes forests and Savannah. Visit the Katwe Salt Lake and see communities and how they are producing salt through old evaporation methods. Later proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game drive- Transfer to Mahoma Falls and the Crater Lakes Region
An early morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains. The Kasenyi plains are on the western shores of the adjacent stunning Lake George, just near the area where the Kazinga Channel confluences with this lake. This is an open savannah area, and it is swarmed with various wild animals with the Uganda Kob being the dominant animals. Actually, this place is the major breeding area for the Uganda Kobs within this park. For that reason, if lucky Lions can easily be seen here during the various game drives as they are drawn by the large Kob’s population which is their main prey in this area.
After your Game drive, Continue to Fort portal’s famous Crater Lakes Region through the wandering roads along different and picturesque lake beds with a visit to the twin lakes (Nyinambuga and kifuruka) one of the lakes is on the twenty thousand Uganda shillings’ note and your guide will tell you more legendary stories about these lakes. On a guided village walk enjoy an unforgettable two-hour walk through lush forests and slippery ground because there’s lots of moss and through steep descent to Mahoma Waterfalls, where you shall refresh yourself in the falls which are fed by the First Glacier Lake in the Rwenzori Mountains’ Lake Mahoma. Day 3: Transfer to Mabeere Ga Nyina Mwiru, Hiking to Crater view and drive back to Kampala
After breakfast, we drive through Fortportal Town and continue to Nyakasura to start our walk of the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves, where you will visit the caves and the waterfall after a short walk. Later continue your guided tour to Lake Kigere where you will climb up to a small hill from which you will have a nice view of not only Lake Kigere but also Lake Saaka as well as Lake Nyabikere Craters. Additionally, you will have an incredible view of the Rwenzori Mountains National Park ‘Mountains of the Moon’ in the backdrop. Later drive back to Kampala with a stop for lunch enroute. On arrival in Kampala transfer to your hotel or proceed to the Airport for your onward flight.
