3 days Lion predator tracking Safari Experience, lion research tracking tour  & Wildlife Tour to Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the unique experiences on an Uganda Safari tour for lion Favorites and is a great place for game drives where you will find all sorts of wildlife as well as Lions which are the most majestic animals found in Uganda’s savanna Park and a real treat when you finally get up close enough to see these lions in action. Queen Elizabeth National Park is the only park where you can participate in a Lion Tracking Experience with researchers. This new tourism experience is unique and entails travellers driving off track to find the kings of the jungle. It was introduced by Uganda Wildlife Authority to diversify tourism products in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Travellers along with lion trackers and researchers set off very early to catch up with these predators hunting and feasting on their prey. While it is more expensive than a normal game drive, it is definitely worth the extra money because you are pretty much guaranteed to see some lions up close.

Queen Elizabeth National park is 1,978 square kilometres in size making the park Uganda’s second-largest park. It is situated on the western side of the country about 376 kilometres off Kampala capital city. The Park was founded in 1952 as Kazinga National Park and renamed two years later to commemorate a visit by Queen Elizabeth II. The park spans the Equator line and the Equator monuments on either side of the road marking the exact spot where it crosses latitude 00. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to over 95 Mammal species such as the big game (elephants, lions plus the tree-climbing lions, leopards, buffaloes) as well as other amazing savanna grassland dwellers and about 600 bird species.
